Youth volunteers are needed to help with Saturday Zoom sessions with the kids. If you’re interested in helping run activities, email thenet@hpl.ca.

The Net Youth Team is working with local children to promote literacy with March Reading Madness. The project is open to children 4 – 13 in Ancaster and surrounding areas. Below is the structure for the month-long project. To register, email thenet@hpl.ca.

March Reading Madness consists of two parts: Completing challenges and check-in meetings on ZOOM. The check-in meetings will be held every Saturday at 3:00 pm for March (except March 27th, when it will be held at 2 pm). The first of these is Saturday, March 6th.

During the Saturday sessions, participants will be led through activities and discuss how they are doing with the challenges or, if they have completed it, by speaking with our youth volunteers. While attendance at all of these meetings is not required, participants are encouraged to attend as many as possible! A minimum of attendance at one meeting is required to be eligible for prizes.
