Join us on Zoom March 23rd, 6:30pm to learn about and celebrate Nowruz, the Persian New Year. This holiday has a long history and is recognized and celebrated in parts of the Middle-East and Asia. Nowruz is a celebration of spring and a new year in the Persian calendar. The name ‘Nowruz’ is Persian for ‘New Day’ and also marks the vernal equinox (day and night are equal lengths).

Celebrations for Nowruz include getting together with friends and family.
